Building Mental Resilience
AICB held its first webinar on mental health on 30 July 2021 @ 10 am, titled “Building Mental Resilience”. Delivered by Dr Pamilia Andrew, Clinical Psychologist at Naluri, the webinar covered ways to manage mental fatigue through various evidence-based techniques and strategies, such as psychic bandwidth vs psychic entropy, adaptive thought patterns and coping mechanisms, focussing on matters that are within our control, practicing mindfulness and building focus and total immersion. Attendees learnt the importance of building mental resilience through activities that included listing down one’s daily stressors and understanding why certain emotions arise. They also gained practical tips on how to mitigate factors that cause stress in everyday life. The webinar was attended by 126 individuals.
