“Global Risks Report 2021” webinar, which took place on 26 February 2021 @ 3 pm, featured key speakers with vast experience in the field of risk. A collaboration between AICB and Oliver Wyman, Singapore, this first webinar of the series commenced with opening remarks from Prakhar Sureka, Principal – Digital Practice at Oliver Wyman, Singapore, followed by a presentation by Graeme Riddell, Research Manager at Marsh & McLennan Advantage, Singapore. In his presentation, Graeme focused on key highlights of the Report, examining how the socio-economic fallout and disparities from the COVID-19 pandemic have deepened underlying structural inequalities and aggravated critical risks. He also discussed lessons on preparedness and resilience. Godelieve van Dooren, CEO South East Asia Growth Markets & Asia Career Business Leader at Mercer, Singapore, continued the session with her presentation on the implications of the pandemic to the workforce, emerging talent trends, and strategic and risk management imperatives. The panel was joined by Magda Chelly, Head of Cyber Risk Consulting, Asia at Marsh, Singapore, and Michael Wellsted, Director – MMC Solutions (Greater China and ASEAN), at Marsh & McLennan Advantage, Hong Kong. The webinar was attended by close to 100 individuals.
