AICB held its inaugural Members Dinner on 28 November 2018 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, to recognise and celebrate members and key stakeholders who have contributed their time and expertise to the Institute’s initiatives to professionalise the banking industry.

The Dinner opened with Welcome Remarks by AICB Chairman Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Azman Hashim, FCB. Among the key highlights of the event were a special talk on the “Importance of Ethics and Professionalism in the Banking Industry” by Giles Cuthbert, Managing Director of the Chartered Banker Institute, UK; and the presentation of Tokens of Appreciation to long-serving AICB members and outgoing AICB Council Member, Datuk Mohd Najib Bin Hj Abdullah, FCB.

There were over 400 attendees, including members of AICB’s various networking groups, working and examination committees, regulators, partners and affiliates, as well as key figures from the banking industry.
