On 27 November 2018, AICB signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sunway University to signify the start of a joint commitment towards the exchange of knowledge and expertise in banking-related thought leadership and research initiatives over a period of 3 years.

The MoU was signed by Prasad Padmanaban, Chief Executive of AICB, and Graeme Wilkinson, Vice-Chancellor of Sunway University, and witnessed by Professor Mohamed Ariff Syed Mohamed, Academic Head, Department of Economics and Finance of Sunway University Business School.
