AICB's Business Operations Continue as Usual Upon Implementation of RMCO. Physical Office Remains Closed Until Further Notice

07 Jun 2020

On 7 June 2020, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the commencement of the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), which will take effect from 10 June to 31 August 2020, following the end of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on 9 June 2020.

I believe this news is much anticipated as the relaxation of certain restrictions that were in place during the CMCO surely brings some semblance of normalcy back into the lives of many. Even so, the Government has reminded the nation that we are not out of the woods yet, and are still required to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that have been emplaced to ensure the safety of all.

In prioritising the health and safety of our members, employees, and other stakeholders, AICB’s business operations will continue as usual remotely from Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 6 pm. Also, as per our announcement on 1 June 2020, kindly note that AICB’s new business address is as follows:

Levels 11 & 12
Bangunan AICB
Jalan Dato’ Onn
50480 Kuala Lumpur.

Following this, all communications with AICB may be addressed to the above. However, Bangunan AICB will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to update you on the latest developments regarding our move to the new office, but in the meantime, do contact our Member Services team at [email protected] or call 1300-88-6833 for enquiries.

As a nation, let’s continue to give our full support to fight COVID-19 by adhering to social distancing rules and practicing good personal hygiene.

Thank you, and stay safe!
