PRIOR EXPERIENCE CONVERSION (PEC) PROGRAMME
INTRODUCTION TO THE PRIOR EXPERIENCE CONVERSION (PEC) PROGRAMME
To support the requirements of the specialised certification programmes, AICB offers a ‘speed to specialisation’ option that allows eligible bankers to be exempted from the normal qualification pathway in specialised areas through the Prior Experience Conversion (PEC) programme. The PEC allows experienced candidates to showcase their experience and tacit knowledge through the production of a reflective paper. It is aimed at candidates who may not have gone through a formal or structured learning process to acquire this high-level competency.
