Membership in AICB provides individuals with recognition, support and opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is open to employees and former employees of financial institutions, as well as individuals who intend to pursue a career in banking.
AICB’s membership consists of Individual Members and Corporate Members. The Rules and Regulations of the membership with AICB can be viewed on each of the menu on the left side of the screen.

A comprehensive review of the Institute’s Memorandum and Articles of Association was undertaken concurrently with a view to transforming the Institute into a leading professional membership organisation that promotes, develops and supports its Members throughout their careers, provides premier professional qualifications in banking and finance, and advocates the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in the banking community.

The bye-laws are principally for the purpose of governing the conditions and procedures for admission of Members and their rights and obligations, the setting of fees and subscriptions payable by Members, the appointment of committees and their powers and proceedings, the conduct of the Institute’s examinations, the continuing professional development requirements, and the regulation of Members’ conduct.
