Manish heads the Center for the Future of Work (cFOW) in Asia Pacific and is responsible to develop original thought leadership content related to Code Halos, Digital Transformation, and the Future of Work. He works closely with senior IT and business decision makers as well as industry stakeholders to provide vision and leadership on digital transformation, and its impact on business, people, technology and culture.

Manish has over 14 years of research, advisory and business strategy experience. His professional expertise spans business technology strategy and planning, C-level thought leadership, innovation, and sales & marketing. He most recently served as Vice President, Country Manager with Forrester India where he provided strategic guidance and advice to Forrester clients and drove Forresters growth in Asia Pacific. His research covered IT strategy, strengthening the linkage between business and technology, disruptive start-ups, and the overall technology services market in Asia Pacific. Manish was also instrumental in the brand development for Forrester in Asia Pacific that led the company to win the Business Technology Research CIO-Choice award in early 2014.

Manish has been widely quoted in the press, including such media outlets as The Wall Street Journal, Economic Times, Ciol, and others. He is a frequent keynote speaker at national and international conferences. He did his post-graduate work in International Business from SCDL and holds a Bachelors degree from University of Delhi, India.

Mansoor Ahmed

Head of Infrastructure and Service Management - Functions Standard Chartered Bank

Mansoor is a highly motivated; client focused Director who believes in change and impact within an organisation.

Mansoor is responsible for Standard Chartered Bank’s Technology Infrastructure globally within a number of business areas. He heads Infrastructure Delivery and Design as well as the Collective Intelligence Centre, Estate Management and Service Management for a portfolio of Legal & Compliance, Risk, Finance, HR and Enterprise Services.

He’s been with the bank for 7 years and has extensive experience in the Banking and Telecoms sector having worked at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Mansoor focuses on his strengths which are Projects and People. He was responsible for project managing the upgrade of the global FX platform – USD$115m – single largest project the bank has ever done within SCB.

Prior to this assignment, he lived in London and worked at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He was the first Programme Manager to successfully complete an integration project between the two banks. He also delivered Market Data services for Merrill Lynch within a greenfield Tier 4 Datacentre as part of a USD$300m programme.

He was born and raised in the UK and when he isn’t glued to a computer screen, Mansoor is passionate about development of people and has taught tools and techniques for delivering projects always incorporating EQ. He is a mentor to many as well as a husband and father of three. He has a passion for martial arts, travel and community development work.

Shahazana Shaari

Shahazana is currently heading Group Information Technology in SME Bank. She is in-charge of IT Planning, Management & Governance. IT Application, IT Security, IT Infrastructure and IT PMO. She is the point person for Information Strategic Planning i.e. strategizing applications and IT Infrastructure to enable all digitalisation projects within the Group and for collaboration with other SMEs. She leverages on IT to advance the mission of the Group by aligning with the business plan and to shape the future direction for IT to create a competitive advantage.

Siah Hark Cheong

Head, Customer Analytics & CRM Community Financial Services Maybank

Siah is currently heading the customer analytics and customer relationship management (CRM) for Community Financial Services in Maybank Malaysia. He is responsible in driving the customer analytics agenda to increase revenue via implementing various initiatives from the insights of the advanced analytics. The initiatives such as cross sell, upsell, portfolio management, acquisition, loyalty and retention are derived from advanced analytics and implemented through CRM enablement via traditional and digital channels. These initiatives are jointly collaborated with various business stakeholders. Siah and his team share the vision of being the trusted advisors and revenue enablers to the stakeholders through close working relationship with them as internal business partners.

Holder of an economics degree from University of London, Siah has the extensive working experience in market and consumer research, data management and processing, advanced analytics, data science and campaign management (customer relationship management). He was the head of customer analytics for Standard Chartered and HSBC banks prior to his current role. His past stints also include RHB Bank, SAS and ACORN Marketing Research. The accumulation of research and advanced analytics experience have been useful for him to converge both practical applications to drive the analytics and data science agenda in his day to day work. His passion and successful implementation from analytics initiatives have motivated him to continue to strive for more revenue driven ideation.

Szazuan Saat

Szazuan is a seasoned Bank Negara IT supervisor with over 18 years experience in multiple domains of technology including cyber security, IT supervision and risk management.
As technology franticly transforms the financial industry, identifying the point of vulnerabilities gets progressively harder. Hence, the better part of his work is trying to make sense of security and apply reasonable controls within a regulatory framework. Donning multiple hats, his core functions include drafting technology risk policy and circulars as well as conducting technology surveillance and reviews on financial institutions.
While regulators are responsible to shape and safeguard the industry, Szazuan believes that industry has a key role to play and industry led initiatives would lead to continuous uplift of risk management standards in the industry.

Zulkanain Kassim

Mr. Zulkanain Kassim has been Chief Operating Officer of Affin Bank Berhad since October 1, 2016. Mr. Kassim has a proven track record of success and has the skills and passion to advance Malaysian Electronic Payment into a premier services provider in the region. He joined MEPS in May 2010 as Head of Information Services where he was responsible for overall technology development and implementation, as well as provided direction to IT operations in line with Group strategies. He started his career in the financial industry 19 years ago and held various positions in local and foreign financial institutions with active involvement in projects such as core banking system implementation and integration, IT Strategic Plan, enterprise-wide system implementation and executive/management information system. He has also spearheaded various teams responsible for implementing strategic and compliance initiatives; in particular the online service for legal processing and documentation for credit facilities which was the first for the nation’s banking industry. He served as a Director of Malaysian Electronic Payment System Sdn Bhd since 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and is an alumnus of the Senior Management Development Programme at Harvard Business School.
