On 16 February 2017, the first of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB)’s Global Banking Discourse Series for 2017, titled “Wise Decision Making – How To Make Better Decisions In Times of Disruption and Change” was held at Conference Hall 1, Sasana Kijang, Kuala Lumpur. Close to 80 attendees participated in the event, which was jointly organised with the ICLIF Leadership And Governance Centre. The event featured ICLIF’s Research and Curriculum Director, Peter Webb, as the speaker. AICB Chief Executive Officer, Prasad Padmanaban, was also present to officiate the event. The objective of the event was for Banking Professionals to learn about the subconscious biases that limit their clarity of decision-making and how to consciously overcome them and how to practice the three ways of processing information to enhance their wise decision-making.
