Member Conduct and Discipline


Joining AICB means committing to the obligations spelt out in AICB’s Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&As) and Bye-Laws, the Code of Professional Conduct and applicable regulations.

To ensure all members uphold these standards, AICB has a formal process that enables complaints about its members to be heard, evaluated and, where appropriate, disciplinary action to be taken.

Investigations and disciplinary processes are guided by the principles of procedural fairness (the right for a member to put forward their case), confidentiality, independence, and the right to appeal.
